Swordsman

Swordsman's design is to remain true to it's primary goal of being a tank first and damage-dealer second. Like other first job classes, there is intended to be quite a few pre-requisite skills and branching, mainly into two categories: tank and damage oriented.

  • Increase HP Recovery - Max Lv 10 - Passive
    • Enabled additional natural HP regeneration by providing an additional HP restoration every 5.5 seconds.
    • Allows recovering HP while moving.
    • Increases base HP regeneration by +3% * Skill Lv
  • Increase Aggression - Max Lv 5 - Passive
    • Increases aggression generated from attacks by +5% * Skill Lv.
  • Bash - Max Lv 10 - Active - 6~10 SP
    • Hits an enemy with crushing force. At level 6 and higher, adds additional stun to the target.
    • Damage: 100% + 30% * Skill Lv
    • Stun: +6 * (Skill Lv - 5)
  • Provoke - Max Lv 5 - Active - 6~10 SP
    • Enrages a target to decrease its defense while increasing its attack strength for 7 sec. Adds +1,000,000 to monster aggression, but leaves only 3% of original when the status ends.
    • Target ATK: + (2 + 6 * Skill Lv)%
    • Target DEF: - (5 + 10% * Skill Lv)%
    • Success Rate: 50 +6% * Skill Lv
  • Iron Defense - Max Lv 5 - Active - 30 SP
    • Braces the player for incoming damage by tensing the muscles and increasing VIT-type defense.
    • Vit-DEF: + (10 * Skill Lv)%
  • Magnum Break - Max Lv 5 - Active - 15 SP
    • Drains a small amount of the caster's HP to inflict Fire elemental area effect damage on enemies in the caster's vicinity and force them backward. For 10 seconds after Magnum Break, caster's weapon will receive a 20% Fire elemental strength enhancement.
    • Damage: 100% + 40% * Skill Lv
  • Endure - Max Lv 5 - Active - 10 SP
    • Removes the attack and movement delay that occurs when a character receives damage while also increasing magic defense.
    • Hits Endured: 4 * Skill Lv
    • MDEF: +2 * Skill Lv
  • Fortify Shield - Max Lv 5
    • Requires a shield equipped. This skill initially lasts indefinitely until hit. Once hit, the skill lasts 5 seconds or until the number of hits has been reached to drastically reduce incoming damage. Once the effect ends, a cooldown is placed on the skill.
    • Incoming Damage: -4% * Skill Lv
    • Number of Hits: 2 * Skill Lv
    • Cooldown: 30 seconds
  • Party Protect - Max Lv 3 - Active - 5 SP
    • Swaps places with all party members in a 3x3 area around the targeted cell while provoking all monsters in a 5x5 area around the targeted cell. The AoE provoke cast is based on the level the player has learned. Can be cast up to 2 + Skill Lv cells away.
  • Overload - Max Lv 3 - Active - 5 SP
    • Toggle Skill. Each attack consumes (0.1% * Skill Lv) of HP to gain +(15 * Skill Lv) flat damage. If INT is greater than STR, adds flat damage to magic hits instead.
  • Imbue Blade - Max Lv 5 - Active - 15 SP
    • Imbues the caster's weapon with magic by shifting a portion of ATK to mATK.
    • Increases mATK by +(5% * Skill Lv * ATK)
    • Decreases ATK by +(5% * Skill Lv)
    • Duration: 300 Seconds
  • Mystic Slice - Max Lv 5 - Active - 10 SP
    • Deals 2 physical hits with the first being based on ATK and the second based on the user's magic ATK. The second hit lands 500ms after the first regardless of attack speed.
    • Damage 1st Hit: 100% + 10% * Skill Lv
    • Damage 2nd Hit: 70% * Skill Lv
  • Heavy Weapons - Max Lv 5 - Passive
    • Allows all attacks to add stun status when attacking.
    • Stun: +1 * Skill Lv

Knight

Knight's skill tree is intended to expand upon the two main aspects of Swordsman, raw tanking ability and raw damage. Knight should lean into the spear weapon class and have a few maneuver-type abilities compared to Crusader.

 

  • Peco Mastery - Max Lv 3 - Passive
    • Masters the riding of Peco Peco. Rentable from any Kafra Employee.
    • Lv 1 - Removes the medium-size penalty when using spears.
    • Lv 2 - Increases weight limit by +500 while riding a Peco Peco.
    • Lv 3 - Increases movement speed while riding a Peco Peco by +10%.
  • Movement Mastery - Max Lv 5 - Passive
    • Increases movement speed and attack speed based with additional benefits based on the user's base agility.

  • Trample - Max Lv 3 - Active - 15 SP
    • Charges forward, dealing damage around the user, destroying traps, and generating aggression. AoE damage increases from 3x3 to 5x5 if the user is riding a Peco Peco.
    • Damage: 50% * Skill Lv per 2 cells.
    • Distance: 4 * Skill Lv
  • Pierce - Max Lv 5 - Active - 7 SP
    • Requires a spear-type weapon to use. Deals additional hits based on the monster's size: 1x Small, 2x Medium, and 3x Large
    • Damage: 100% + 20% * Skill Lv
  • Spear Stab - Max Lv 5 - Active - 5 SP
    • Requires a spear-type weapon to use. Knocks the target back 7 cells, temporarily slowing the enemy, and causing stun.
    • Damage: 100% + 60% * Skill Lv
    • Stun: +20 * Skill Lv
    • Slowdown: 90% reduction for 750ms
  • Spear Boomerang - Max Lv 5 - Active - 5 SP
    • Requires a spear-type weapon to use. Attacks a target from up to 11 cells away.
    • Damage: 100% * Skill Lv
  • Brandish Spear - Max Lv 10 - Active 12 SP
    • Requires a spear-type weapon to use. Deals AoE splash damage, knocking enemies back 3 cells.
    • Damage: 100% + 30% * Skill Lv
  • Aerial Assault - Max Lv 5 - Active - 22 SP
    • Requires a spear-type weapon to use. Leaps at enemies from a distance to deal AoE damage.
    • Damage: 200% + 120% * Skill Lv
  • Clashing Spiral - Max Lv 5
    • An attack from 5 cells away that ignores DEF and deals more damage with heavier weapons.

  • Bowling Bash - Max Lv 10 - Active - 22 SP
    • Deals splash damage and knocks enemies back that continues to bounce of sequential enemies nearby.
    • Damage (x2 hits): 100% + 30% * Skill Lv
  • Charge Attack - Max Lv 3
    • Charges at an enemy from a distance (up to 9 cells) that deals more damage the farther away you are from the enemy. Additionally, the enemy is knocked back 3 cells when attacked from a distance from greater than 3 cells.

    • A ranged attack from up to 7 cells away that deals damage based on ATK+MATK combined.

  • Berserk - Max Lv 10
    • Enters a state of pure rage of increased damage, max health, and attack speed while making sacrifice to defenses. Cannot change equipment or regenerate HP/SP naturally. Drains 5% of your Max HP every 15 seconds. The effect cancels when HP drops to 100 or below.

  • Mystic Armor - Max Lv 5
    • Increases the MDEF of the user based on the user's AGI and VIT.

  • Auto Counter - Max Lv 5
    • A toggle skill that, while active, increases critical hit chance (for 5 seconds) if the user was recently attacked, and further increases critical rate if the user receives damage. Drains 3% SP every 15 seconds. This skill cancels if SP is drained entirely.

    • Critical Chance (recently received damage): +7% * Skill Lv
  • Majestic Sword - Max Lv 5
    • A toggle skill that, while active, increases the damage and attack speed while sacrificing defenses. The lower the HP of the caster, the more damage and attack speed are increased and the more incoming damage is received. Cancels Defensive Stance.

  • Defensive Stance - Max Lv 5
    • A toggle skill that, while active, reduces attack speed and caster's damage in order to maximize defenses. The lower the HP of the caster, the more attack speed and caster damage is reduced and the more incoming damage is reduced. Cancels Majestic Sword.

  • Parrying - Max Lv 10
    • While using a two-handed weapon, allows the user to dodge melee attacks at a certain percentage rate.

Crusader

The Crusader job class leans into magic a bit, more specifically holy magic, to offer more support for the party. Crusader leans into shield usage and makes use of holy magic.
